What are your rates and how do you take payment?
Our current rate is between $25-$150 per hour, depending on the subject, level of content, and subject to change depending on tutor availability. We accept payments via Zelle (pacethepance@gmail.com).

Where are tutoring sessions held?
All sessions are conducted online through zoom. After each session, students receive a PDF copy of the notes via email as well as follow-up practice problems.
What does the tutor session look like?
Our tutoring sessions are designed to be personalized and engaging. Before the session, it’s helpful if you send any relevant materials or notes to your tutor, such as discussion worksheets, practice problems, or specific topics you're struggling with. This allows the tutor to tailor the session to your needs. All sessions are conducted online (Zoom) using a platform that allows for real-time interaction, and you’ll receive a link to join the virtual classroom at the scheduled time. During the session, your tutor will start by discussing your current understanding and any specific challenges you’re facing. The session will then focus on addressing these areas, explaining concepts in detail, and working through problems together. The tutor will use a combination of explanations, diagrams, and examples to help clarify complex topics. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions, engage in discussions, and solve problems interactively.
Throughout the session, your tutor will take detailed notes and highlight key points. These notes will be shared with you in PDF format after the session, providing a valuable resource for review. You'll work through practice problems with the tutor’s guidance, receiving immediate feedback and tips for improvement, which helps reinforce your understanding and build confidence. At the end of the session, the tutor will review what was covered and discuss any remaining questions, as well as provide suggestions for further study or practice before the next session. Our goal is to make each session as productive and supportive as possible, ensuring you gain a deeper understanding of the material and feel confident in your chemistry studies.
How long does a tutoring session typically last?
Sessions usually last 1-2 hours. Most sessions are one hour; however, sessions have varied from 30 minutes to six hour review sessions.
How often do students meet per week?
The frequency of sessions depends on the student's needs, but most meet 1-2 times per week.
What subjects do you offer tutoring in?
We provide tutoring in Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, General Chemistry, Physics, Anatomy, Physiology, Pathophysiology, PA, medical, and MCAT course review content. Additional subjects may be available upon request.
Do I need to prepare anything for our tutoring sessions?
Preparation is not required. We do ask for you to send your tutor ahead of time any relevant materials or a note on what you need assistance with (e.g., syllabus, class schedule, worksheets, practice problems, practice tests , etc) to guide the session. The tutor will synthesize all of the information together and create the session to optimize the session and maximize efficiency.
What is the cancellation/refund policy?
