Who We Are
Eric Roman is a bilingual, board-certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) who values patient advocacy and service for the homeless and underserved communities of the Greater Los Angeles area. He is driven to use his Spanish-speaking skills in the San Fernando Valley at the Family Rescue Center, connecting low-income patients to primary healthcare resources. Eric has advocated for the uninsured, immigrant, and homeless populations in Sacramento through a student-run clinic, Clinica Tepati, while earning his undergraduate degree in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior at UC Davis. He graduated from The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and earned a Master of Science degree in Anatomy Education. There, he specialized in medical education and health professions education curriculum development. Now, he is a board-certified PA-C trained from Keck School of Medicine of USC and seeks to enhance fellow PA students’ comprehension of basic medical sciences, medical education, and clinical skills. He is passionate about teaching to undergraduate students in various courses including Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Genetics, Neuroscience, GI Physiology, Physiology, Advanced Physiology, Pathophysiology, Anatomy, and much more. He has built this organic chemistry website to reach the minds of thousands of pre-med, pre-health, and pre-PA students who are interested in pursuing a career in medicine.
